Matthew T. Lewis, MD

Dr. Lewis received his B.A. in Biology at Washington University and his M.D. at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, cum laude honors.

After his internship at St. John’s Medical Center in St. Louis, Dr. Lewis completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and a fellowship in Inflammatory Ocular Disease at the National Eye Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. He joined Capitol Eye Care in 1991.

Dr. Lewis’s practice emphasis is in the areas of LASIK surgery, cataract surgery, glaucoma, and the care of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and oculoplastics.
